🥬 Distros
Free tea at food distributions. Cover photo by Caitlin.
Distros are events during which we serve free tea to folks at food and resource distributions (e.g. clothing, fresh produce, legal aid, etc.).
We're committed to serving free tea at a food & clothing distribution every second Saturday of the month in BedStuy organized by Riders4Rights, a Black-led mutual aid group.
Check out our calendar to see upcoming 🥬 Distros and signup for our free newsletter to hear about volunteer opportunities!

We serve free tea at these resource distributions to meet more of our neighbors and to add comfort to an experience which can be uncomfortable and sensitive for folks. Offering free tea to people while they wait in line for distributions is an act of dignity, care, and warmth.
Distros are also an opportunity to partner with and support local mutual aid groups. In the past, we've collaborated with Collective Focus, Club A, BK Jail Support, Riders4Rights, and more.
We see mutual aid as a promising path forward in our sick world. Our motto, "free tea for all," means that we are here to serve the people, especially those whom our society has failed in so many ways.
