Silent Sanctuary is an event series â currently on hiatus â featuring shared silence, parallel play, and free tea. In the past, we hosedt Silent Sanctuary events on a monthly basis in our friend Adin's apartment in Ridgewood, Queens!
Silent Sanctuary events typically occured on the second Tuesday of the month from 7-10pm.
We hosted Silent Sanctuary events to create a space of stillness and quiet in our busy, noisy city. We like to think of Silent Sanctuary as a late-night library with free tea. It's also a practice of trust: we are inviting folks into the home of a stranger!
